I’m a psychotherapist who works with adults and couples around anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, parenting, caregiving, and major life transitions. I’m particularly interested in how change and loss can affect our sense of identity and the ways we understand ourselves and our relationships.

I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, with an approach that is warm, curious, and collaborative. I’m interested in helping clients understand the experiences and patterns that shape how they think, feel, and relate to themselves and others, while also finding ways to feel better in the present. With couples, I focus on communication and the often-unspoken expectations, dynamics, and assumptions that shape a relationship. I see clients in person in Manhattan and Brooklyn and remotely.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade in journalism and communications, which informs my interest in the stories we tell about ourselves and how those stories shape our understanding of who we are. I earned my MSW from Fordham University and continue to train in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
