Kate is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with adults and teens. Known for her warm presence, light-heartedness, and guiding honesty, she creates a space where clients feel seen, understood, and gently challenged. Her approach is grounded in the belief that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful source of healing — that meaningful connection and attuned presence help people grow, shift, and heal. She serves as both a psychotherapist and as a clinical supervisor for other therapists seeking support in their own growth as mental health providers.
Her clinical work has included supporting people through anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, ARFID, grief and loss, identity formation, early life adjustments, emerging adulthood, PMADs, and relationship challenges. She has also had the pleasure of serving people learning to appreciate and work with their ADHD diagnoses and autism diagnoses. Her background in community mental health services and crisis intervention afforded her the important practice of remaining grounded, even in frightening times. It's important to Kate to create a safe space for all who enter – she does so by infusing social justice and feminist lenses to her approach, as well as by continuously educating herself as an active ally of the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
Kate is committed to maintaining a practice rooted in clinical integrity, compassion, and deep respect for the people who entrust her with their stories.
