I’m a New York-based psychologist and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

I work individually with adults and adolescents and specialize in anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and insomnia/sleep difficulties. I also work with clients on relationship challenges, life transitions, lifestyle changes, grief and loss, and academic or work stressors. I have a special interest in supporting healthcare workers, parents of adolescents and young adults, and individuals whose loved ones are experiencing mental health difficulties.

I have formal training in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In addition to private practice, I currently serve as a psychologist for the Center for Stress, Resilience, and Personal Growth at Mount Sinai where I provide mental health services to healthcare workers and their families. I earned my bachelor’s degree at Boston College and my doctorate at Loyola University Chicago. I completed an APA-accredited predoctoral internship at a therapeutic day school in Chicago, IL and my post-doctoral fellowship at MindWell NYC, a group private practice in New York, NY specializing in DBT treatment.

My style balances curiosity, humor, and warmth with thoughtful questions and direct feedback. I care deeply about demystifying mental health disorders and helping clients better understand their symptoms and presenting problems. I take a collaborative approach to sessions, setting personalized goals with clients and integrating treatment techniques from evidence-based modalities. My goal is to equip clients with new ways of relating to their thoughts and emotions while developing practical action steps to reduce symptoms and improve well-being.
