Kimberly Gevint, LCSW-R, is the founder of Practical Steps Counseling, LCSW PLLC, and has been a committed professional in the mental health field since 2011. She earned her degree from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work and received extensive training in mental health at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Her areas of expertise include postpartum depression, anxiety and depression in adolescents and adults, crisis stabilization, and psychosis.

Kimberly has also developed a keen interest in psychogastroenterology. She focuses on understanding and supporting clients with chronic conditions such as IBD and IBS, incorporating insights into the brain-gut connection to better assist those navigating their health journeys.

In her private practice, Kimberly specializes in helping individuals manage life transitions, including changes related to school, employment, retirement, divorce, marriage, and new medical diagnoses. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey, Connecticut, New York, Florida, and Pennsylvania, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions to ensure her clients receive the support they need in a manner that is both accessible and comfortable.
