I am a Columbia trained board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the New York City metropolitan area. My focuses are child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as providing trauma-informed care for marginalized populations. I strive to be an advocate for at-risk children (especially children in the child welfare and foster care system) through my care and aim to alleviate disparities in mental health. As an AAPI provider, I am also passionate about providing patient-centered care for the Asian American community in New York City.
I am inspired by organizations that value teamwork, evidence-based practice, and provide care from a place of compassion and empathy. I obtained my masters in nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing and my doctorate in nursing from Columbia Univeristy. My training includes both clinical and research experience at the University of Michigan Department of Psychiatry, University of Michigan Mott Children's Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
I am currently a full-time provider at the A31 mental health clinic of New Alternatives for Children, a non-profit for medically complex children in or at risk of foster care in New York City.
Starting October 2024, I am a part-time provider with Wholistic Psychiatry and am currently accepting new clients. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, please visit https://wholisticpsychiatry.com/
