Lani Pawar completed her Masters in Psychoanalysis and Culture at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis. She was interested in how language and culture contributed to the formation of an individual's identity and completed her Masters thesis on the power of storytelling to heal trauma. She completed her clinical training at the Center for Modern Psychoanalytic Studies, working as a clinician at the CMPS treatment service. As a psychoanalytic candidate, she conducted a case study on depression and creativity. She currently works in her private practice in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan.
Lani has a particular interest in working with parents, providing emotional support to parents as they navigate the challenges of parenting. She also enjoys working with parents on their marriage/partnership after children.
