Lauren Consul is an LMFT and AASECT-certified sex therapist. Her practice focuses on sex therapy, infidelity, and consensual non-monogamy, working with individuals and couples navigating ruptures in intimacy, desire, and trust.
Much of her work centers on the situations couples are most often told can't be repaired: the gap between partners with mismatched desire, opening a relationship that was built to be closed, or the aftermath of a betrayal. She works from the belief that these are rarely endings, and that what comes next depends on the work the people involved are willing to do.
She also runs support groups for both the unfaithful and betrayed partner, as well as retreats for couples healing from infidelity.
