Anastasia Zankowsky, LCSW specializes in working with grief, trauma and PTSD, chronic and/or life-limiting illness, and LGBTQIA identities. Her practice is virtual and includes individuals and relationships/dyads. Anastasia works through a framework that is relational and strengths-based, and is LGBQA, trans, poly, and kink affirmative.
They are a white, queer, jewish, currently non-disabled therapist who is committed to anti-oppression work in and outside of the therapy room. Previously she worked at multiple cancer centers including Memorial Sloan Kettering, received training in couples and family therapy through the Ackerman Institute, and completed a Palliative Care Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. She earned her MSW from the University of Washington with a focus on multigenerational practice with elders in 2017.
