I am a clinical psychologist in private practice for close to a decade with a fundamentally psychodynamic, relational approach that is augmented by techniques drawn from CBT, DBT, and ACT. I enjoy working with individuals and couples from college age through mid-life and I am a particularly strong fit for couples who are curious about improving their connections through the challenges of early partnership, conception and pregnancy, and early parenthood. I also enjoy working with individuals with a range of presenting problems.

I graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from Barnard College, and my doctorate is from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. During graduate school, I trained at the Einstein College of Medicine's Early Childhood Center, on inpatient units at North Central Bronx Hospital, and at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I completed my internship at Bronx Psychiatric Center, and completed my postdoctoral hours at Rose Hill Psychological Services and the William Alanson White Institute. I have also engaged in private training and supervision in cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as with a senior training psychoanalyst who specializes in working with couples and families.

For 7 years, I served as senior psychologist, later assistant director, at the Jewish Theological Seminary in Manhattan, whose undergraduates co-enroll at Columbia University. I worked with undergraduates and graduate individual and couples, including rabbinical and cantorial students. In addition to maintaining an active caseload, I oversaw counseling center operations, managed the externship process, and supervised doctoral and master's level graduate students from schools across the New York area.

I have previously held roles as an adjunct professor at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and as an adjunct supervisor for the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and Teachers College, Columbia University.

After 20 years living and working in New York City, I recently moved to Westchester County with my family. We are enjoying the extra space, trees, and fresh air!
