I am a licensed clinical psychologist who works with adults in my private practice in NYC. My areas of expertise include evidence-based treatments for mood and anxiety disorders, emotion regulation problems, trauma, and substance use disorders. I also enjoy working with adults navigating life transitions, relationship issues, and career and academic goals.
Over the course of my career, I have completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing for substance use disorders, CBT for mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma treatments including Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and STAIR. I have published on a range of topics including emotion regulation, mindfulness, borderline personality disorder, and DBT.
I received my doctorate from Rutgers University and my B.A. from Yale University. I completed my pre-doctoral internship working with veterans at the James J. Peters VA Medical Center and my post-doctoral fellowship at the Center for Cognitive & Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
In my earlier life, I was a classically trained dancer and have worked in the music industry and in the field of international health and human rights.
