My goal as a therapist is to partner with clients to build on their strengths and deepen their perspective into the transitions and challenges they face. Often people choose to start therapy because they are seeking change. That change may involve finding new ways to cope with anxiety, depression, or other emotional pain. It may involve setting different boundaries in relationships. It may involve living life more intentionally and authentically, however one chooses to define that. Change can be overwhelming and is often difficult, but I believe therapy provides the support and insight needed to make any change easier to navigate
You are the expert in your own lived experience. While my practice is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I use a variety of techniques tailored to your needs. I am committed to using an anti-oppressive framework that explores how environments, relationships, and circumstances shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
Our work together will give you the space to process, to heal, and to set new goals.
