Psychologist
Dr. Gershkovich is a licensed, board-certified, New York-based psychologist specializing in the evidence-based treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, perinatal and postpartum anxiety, and related disorders. Dr. Gershkovich sees patients for individual therapy in her private practice.
Dr. Gershkovich regularly provides cognitive behavioral therapy workshops to clinicians interested in deepening their understanding of CBT, and she is part of New York’s IMPACT-OCD statewide initiative, providing education and support to front-line providers to improve detection and treatment of OCD. Dr. Gershkovich also conducts research at Columbia University Medical Center and teach graduate-level courses at New York University and Fordham University.
As a clinical researcher at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, Dr. Gershkovich works to develop innovative methods for treatment dissemination. Currently, her research focuses on improving outcomes for individuals with OCD and anxiety disorders.
