I am a licensed clinical social work therapist with experience in outpatient mental health counseling at Mount Sinai Hospital from 2013 to 2024 and in my private practice since 2022. I have received my Master of Social Work degree from Adelphi University. I have trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, trauma-informed treatment, group therapy and couples therapy. I specialize in treating adults with the following conditions: depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship issues, parenting challenges, grief and life-stage transitions. I am fluent in both English and Polish and I provide psychotherapy services in both languages. I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in New York and Illinois.

I offer individual, couple and group therapy, choosing methods from different theoretical orientations to meet the specific needs of my clients and to ensure that their treatment is effective. I use psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapies, relational and midnfulness approaches and Gottman Method. I incorporate dream work, meditation, and breathing and relaxation exercises into my sessions.

I believe that each person is capable of healing and improving his/her/their life, but change is a unique process. My goal as a therapist is to support my clients in finding what they are looking for and to help them discover what works and what does not work for them. I aim to create a space that is safe and shielded from the outside noise to help my clients examine what stands in their way of living a happy and fulfilled life, and learn how to find their own answers and how to make their own decisions so ultimately they can make the changes they desire. I premise my work on the belief that it is never too late to be happy, and the conviction that the sky is the limit if one looks for his/her/their answers from within.

In addition to psychotherapy services, I offer clinical supervision to LMSW and LMHC practitioners. I hold the following certificates of completion: SIFI (Seminar in Field Instruction) and Clinical Supervision: Providing Effective Supervision, Navigating Ethical Issues and Managing Risk. I have been working with clinicians offering individual and group supervision since 2022.

I believe that clinical supervision is vital to every clinician's development so she/he/they can become a skilled, competent and eventually independent practitioner.

I offer a safe space for new therapists to help them find their voice and style, to discover their talents, strengths and niche, to understand and challenge their barriers and to address the areas that need improvement.

I am looking forward to meeting with you and talking about what you need, what is important to you, and how I can help.
