I am a board certified adult psychiatrist practicing in New York and New Jersey. I provide comprehensive and highly personalized mental health services.
I am on the faculty at NYU School of Medicine where I teach and supervise resident physicians. I am also a candidate in psychoanalysis at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research.
I treat mental health conditions such as mood disorders like depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, trauma, and grief. I also treat issues related to pregnancy and the postpartum period, self-esteem, body image, relationships and major life transitions. I am trained in multiple psychotherapeutic modalities and offer psychotherapy alone or in combination with medication. My style is compassionate and collaborative.
