I am a prelicensed professional who works with adults, centering intersectional identities in her work, and is committed to honoring the complexities that they hold within a white-centered, patriarchal society. Despite the seriousness of this mission, I'm quick to find humor in all things and, through experience, use it as a tool to explore injustice, emotions, and even trauma. I'm trauma-informed and uses a client-centered approach that prioritizes the strength of the therapeutic relationship as a route to emotional tolerance and positive change.

I use a blend of styles to support a psychodynamic foundation. Primarily, I draw from DBT, ACT, IFS, and EMDR techniques to uncover emotions, foundational memories, and the “why” behind core beliefs. The core of my treatment philosophy is rooted in the therapeutic relationship. When there is mutual trust between client and clinician, that’s where change really begins.

If I were to sum up my “mission” in life, it’s to help others. Initially, I did this with nearly a decade of work in social justice spaces, in capacities such as digital organizing, communications, and narrative building. Through my own therapeutic journey, I realized that counseling is something that I have a knack for, and it’s a career path that aligns with my values.
