Often individuals with multifaceted identities (immigrants, adult children of immigrants, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, multicultural, multiracial etc) find my gentle, humanistic and cultural responsiveness refreshing. I often help people with: trauma recovery, family of origin dynamics, grief/loss, racial dilemmas, attachment and relationships, self-worth plus more.

With somatic guidance, fight/flight reactivity can be transformed into: learning to pause, and instead respond wisely. The first step may be to breathe, and come home to the body. Therapy can be a space to learn to value all behaviors, feelings, impulses and thoughts, even paradoxical ones. Moreover, it's a process where mindfulness and awareness skills developed over time lead to expressing a whole spectrum of feelings and experiences: tears and laughter, fears and aversions, anger and heartbreak, excitement, joy, wonder etc.

As a former visual artist, educator and career changer, I hold space for learning and deep inquiry, where unearthing and following What Really Matters leads to choice and freedom. After our work together, most report surpassing initial goals, feel uplifted and more confident to pursue heartfelt desires, while also embodying the pleasure of living aligned and whole.
