I find it especially meaningful to explore patterns, relationships, and internal experiences over time, and to witness how insight and connection can lead to real change. The therapeutic relationship itself remains one of the most compelling aspects of the work for me. I'm also continually engaged in learning, both through evolving research and through what patients teach me in the room.

I tend to do my best work with patients who are open to curiosity about themselves, even if they feel stuck or unsure where to begin. I aim to understand each person's unique experience rather than lead with diagnosis, and I work well with individuals who are motivated to explore patterns and engage thoughtfully in the process. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns - including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive symptoms, eating-related concerns, trauma, relationship difficulties, and identity-related challenges.

A particular focus of my work is reproductive mental health and perinatal psychology. I find meaning in helping individuals, couples, and families gently challenge the myths and expectations that so often surround fertility, pregnancy, and early parenthood - especially when their lived experience doesn't match what they thought it 'should' feel like. These experiences frequently evoke a complex emotional landscape that can include grief, uncertainty, and ambivalence, as well as joy, hope, and love. I approach this work with empathy and a personal appreciation for how complex and vulnerable these experiences can be, to help patients feel less alone and more connected to their lived experience.

I take an integrative approach, drawing primarily from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, alongside CBT, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and cognitive processing therapy where they fit. In early sessions, I focus on developing a clear picture of your current concerns, history, and goals, while paying close attention to how you experience and express emotions in the room. I'm attuned to what you may be needing - what feels most important to you, even if it isn't fully clear or articulated yet. I work to establish a therapeutic relationship that feels collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in trust.

I aim to balance insight-oriented work with practical interventions, helping patients better understand themselves while also making tangible changes in their day-to-day lives. I'm active in sessions and intentional in how I guide the process.

If any of this resonates, I'd welcome the chance to connect.
