I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 10+ years experience treating eating disorders. I also have specialties in anxiety disorders and maternal mental health. I practice from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework, while also drawing from a feminist perspective. Clients often describe me as warm, patient, and humorous.

It is such a privilege to work with a range of clients whom represent diverse backgrounds, histories, beliefs, and experiences.  I believe every person is equipped with their own unique strengths and values that make them who they are.  Therapy is such an important way to help others reconnect with themselves, understand what may be contributing to their suffering, and redirect their attention/energy towards the things they want their life to be about.  This is the essence of ACT.

I earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Suffolk University in Boston, MA in 2013.  I completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Mclean Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Belmont, MA.  I served as a Staff Psychologist at McLean Hospital, working in an Intensive Outpatient Exposure-Therapy Program for Adolescents with severe anxiety disorders and then moving on to the Klarman Eating Disorders Center.  I maintain an affiliation with McLean Hospital, supervising practicum students, social work interns, and post-doctoral fellows.  I have been in private practice for 8 years and currently licensed in NY and MA.  I have recently relocated to the Northern NJ/NYC area and currently accepting new clients based in NY.
