You can count on a warm, open, confidential and non-judgmental place to talk about whatever it is that’s on your mind. For over 20 years, I have successfully helped both individuals and couples on a wide range of issues: anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, life transitions, loss, grief, sexuality, chronic illness/pain, existential dilemmas and many other emotional challenges. I also supervise other mental health professionals.

After receiving my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2000, I successfully completed a 2-year program in the psychoanalytic psychotherapy of adults at the Psychoanalytic Association of New York (PANY). I have also completed the 3 levels of training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy.

In my initial training and then throughout my years of working, I have studied many different therapeutic approaches. My goal is to tailor each session with what I’ve learned to meet your specific needs. I love what I do and have a deep respect and passion for the therapeutic process. Whatever that process is for you, I am here to guide you through it.
