I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker near Penn Station specializing in young adults, women's issues, anxiety and life transitions. Many of my patients are struggling with relationships, family planning, family dynamics, friendships, identity issues, work challenges, uncertainty about life choices, trauma, anxiety and loss. My goal is to identify concerns and help patients move from feeling "stuck" in some areas of their life to achieving their own definition of well being.

I have a particular expertise in working with individuals experiencing life transitions and anxiety. The only certainty in life is change. However, that does not make it any easier when suffering through a breakup, making choices around having a child or moving jobs. I help patients navigate and cope with difficult feelings, understand  fears around uncertainty and move forward.

I especially enjoy working with young adults in their 20's and 30's.  It is difficult to be young, living in New York City and trying to figure out what is best for your well being. I also focus on individuals in the family planning process - whether its contemplating having a child, dealing with fertility issues, pregnancy or post-partum. I help patients develop compassion for themselves and gain confidence.

I use a combination of therapy approaches, including psychoanalytic and psychodynamic therapies, relational therapy, and mindfulness. With a background in working with survivors of domestic violence, addiction and hospitals, my practice is trauma-informed, and I strive to offer a safe environment for survivors to heal at their own pace. I received my Masters in Social Work at New York University. I received advanced training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the Institute of Contemporary Psychotherapy and completed New York University's Palliative and End of Life Care post-graduate certificate program. My office is accessible by the 1,2,3,A,C,E, N,Q,R,W PATH, LIRR and NJ Transit.
