In creating an atmosphere of safety and trust, I help my clients to feel comfortable in sharing their unique experiences related to their most pressing concerns. As an experienced therapist, I tailor my services to the needs of each client so that we can work together to bring about the right kind of healing and change. I bring warmth, authenticity, and enthusiasm to my work as a therapist and deeply enjoy empowering people to make important shifts in their lives so they can experience more joy, confidence, and connection.

I provide both long-term treatment as well as shorter term support in the form of my Modern Accelerated Programs (MAPs) for couples or individuals facing a major setback/transition. Together, we'll work to create lasting and meaningful change tailored to your specific needs.

Whether I am working with an individual or a couple, I view the presenting issue(s) from a contextual lens. I’m especially attracted to this way of working because it is naturally holistic. I blend several modalities and interventions into my work and place the highest emphasis on understanding each individual's unique story and how it impacts the present issue. This relational lens takes into consideration the interplay of a variety of influences including familial, environmental, interpersonal, societal, and cultural factors.

I am a life long learner who believes my own continued development is essential to the success of those I work with. I am an enthusiastic member of my field and strive to provide high quality work that helps people achieve lasting results. In therapy -- we will focus on the practical, but also on important dynamic and relational shifts so that you experience lasting benefit.

I received my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University and postgraduate training from the Ackerman Institute for the Family and the New York Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. I am a certified Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator and incorporate the latest relationship research in my work with all of my clients. I am a clinical fellow of the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapists (AAMFT).
