In the field for over 15 years, Molly Fisher, LCSW has spent her career working to build space and compassion within individuals, families, and communities to allow the opportunity for growth and development. Molly is trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, and often integrates cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness techniques to her practice.
Currently, her private practice is rooted in her psychodynamic training, working with adults facing a variety of concerns from anxiety and depression to life transitions, caregiving, and chronic illness.
Molly has extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns, including caring for aging parent. Working for years as an Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias expert, Molly incorporates this knowledge into her therapeutic practice as adult children face caring for their aging parent, with or without cognitive decline. Molly will assist individuals in processing challenges including providing direct care, navigating family dynamics, balancing work, and family life and so much more.
Molly received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from American University in Washington DC and went on for her Master’s in Social Work from New York University.
