Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I’m a bilingual (Spanish/English) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, fertility journeys, relationship challenges, loss, and burnout. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed—grounded in cultural sensitivity, clinical depth, and a strong belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth.
Over the course of my career, I’ve worked across a wide range of systems—including hospitals, community-based organizations, the NYPD, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, and Columbia University. Most recently, I managed the Victim Intervention Program at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In these roles, I’ve provided direct clinical care, supervised staff, led cross-system collaborations, and designed programs to improve trauma response and victim services. I’ve also partnered with EAP teams to support staff well-being and resilience.
As a recognized leader in trauma-informed care, I’ve led professional trainings, facilitated workshops, developed awareness campaigns, and offered technical assistance to professionals across disciplines. I was honored to receive the 2020 Rape Crisis Professional Award from the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault, and I’ve had the privilege of mentoring MSW students as a field instructor throughout my career.
My therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and relational techniques, tailored to each client’s needs and goals. I welcome referrals for adults seeking a thoughtful, experienced clinician with a strong foundation in trauma recovery and systems-based practice.
I offer telehealth psychotherapy across New York State, providing a safe, supportive space for clients with a focus on culturally responsive and evidence-based care.
