I believe in a holistic approach that can encompass many dynamic dimensions of the self. As a Black, Queer, Femme, I know that a person can hold many identities, some more front-facing than others. The way we hold and view ourselves (or are viewed by others) can often be accompanied by feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety and/or depression, common experiences that are often too overwhelming to handle on one’s own. I will work with you to manage and ease the distress posed by these (and other) life stressors.

Whether you are struggling with your mental health, your relationships, your own identity or a loved one’s, you have made an incredible first step by seeking support. My goal is to establish an open and compassionate space for you to feel safe sharing your experiences. Together we will collaborate on a path towards healing.

While I have experience utilizing such techniques as CBT, psychodynamic talk therapy, and mindfulness practices, I concentrate on developing a relationship with clients. I aim to build trust and work to co-create a non-judgemental and accepting environment in which to process and unpack life's challenges.  By drawing on your own lived experiences and relationships to others, we will work to use your strengths to uncover, reconstruct or renew your capacity for self-love and build a supportive, enjoyable and sustainable way of life that works for you.
