I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who offers individual psychotherapy sessions for folks living in New York and Maine. My practice is fully virtual to support client access to care. I am a reflective-based practitioner who strives to better understand individual thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I work to help each individual increase their assertive communication, identify underlying negative beliefs, and develop flexible coping strategies for life's many stressors.

I graduated from Vanderbilt University with dual degrees in Psychology and English Literature. After a short career in media, I returned to study Health Psychology at University College London. I completed my first Masters of Science (MSc) in Health Psychology in 2017 followed by an additional MSc in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies from Queen Mary University London in 2018. During these studies I worked as a research assistant for a mental health non-profit followed by a role as an Assistant Psychologist for the National Health Service (NHS) in England. Returning to the US in 2018, I completed my Masters of Arts (MA) in Counseling from Northwestern University. Throughout my studies and work experience, I have had the privilege of working in both public and private sectors, from clinical and research-based perspectives.

I have been working in private practice, seeing individual clients since 2019. With a background in Health Psychology and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, I use an integrative approach to address each individual's concerns. I have developed my practice as a reflective-based practitioner who uses empathic communication to better understand individual thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I strive to provide a warm, collaborative atmosphere where individuals can explore their personal difficulties and feelings, better understand their personalities, and reach new, adaptive resolutions.

For anyone who feels apprehensive about the process of therapy, I work with clients at a pace set by each individual and their unique concerns. Exploring how something may relate to one's past, present, and future self can be a gradual process of discovery. I hope to have the opportunity to support you in this!
