I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New York and New Jersey and work with individuals and couples in every phase of life and from all backgrounds. I practice psychodynamically, helping patients identify current stressors, explore the effect of past experiences on present relationships and identity, and change unwanted patterns. I also flexibly adapt treatment to meet my patients’ needs, drawing upon my training in cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, emotion-focused, mentalization-based, and interpersonal psychotherapies. While I identify as a generalist clinician and welcome working with patients of all ages and with a variety of presenting concerns, I additionally have specialized training working with children and adolescents, pregnant and postpartum women and birthing people, families and individuals undergoing fertility treatments, and parents struggling to bond with their infants.

In addition to my independent practice, I am an assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and on staff at Lenox Hill Hospital where I provide direct clinical services and supervise psychology doctoral students and fellows.
