I am an experienced psychologist who is comfortable working with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. Through treatment I can help you develop a better understanding of the psychological and behavioral obstacles and patterns of relating which may be interfering in your relationships and well being.
I know that therapy is a difficult and often painful process of self-discovery. It is most effective when done in a supportive and empathic environment where it feels safe to be challenged, to explore the influence of the past, and to make changes in the here and now.
My training and experience range from work with infants, adults and couples to survivors of trauma. I have specialized training in parent/infant work, women's mental health, anxiety and posttraumatic stress disorders, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Change and growth is often painful and challenging but well worth the committment.
