I am a licensed clincial psychologist using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to treat patients suffering from the full-range of anxiety and depressive disorders including (but not limited to):

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Panic Disorder & Agoraphobia
  • Persistent Depressive Disorder & Major Depressive Disorder
  • Phobias (i.e. flying, public speaking, etc.)
  • Sexual/Intimacy Issues & Relationship Satisfaction
  • Social Phobia/Social Anxiety Disorder
  • Women's Issues (including maternal anxieties and post-partum symptoms)

CBT is a collaborative therapy. Together, we can tailor treatment to better manage your stress and alleviate troublesome symptoms. Using evidence-based techniques, I will help you identify negative patterns of thinking that are keeping you stuck and move towards a goal-driven future which allows for a greater sense of satisfaction, pride, and accomplishment. More specifically, I can help you to successfully navigate difficult transitions, better manage life's pressures, and make thoughtful decisions regarding your future. I strongly believe in helping you hear and develop your own "voice" so that you make deliberate choices and find greater satisfaction in all areas of life -- academic, career-wise, and in your relationships.

In addition to my private practice, I frequently provide clinical consultation and supervision for doctoral-level psychology students and have conducted annual post-doctoral seminars on CBT for Anxiety Disorders at Columbia University's Counseling and Psychological Services Center.

Currently, I am offering both in-person and telehealth appointments. To set up a free telephone consultation, you are welcome to call me: 718-704-8290.
