Welcome — and it is so wonderful to be apart of this community of clinicians and providers. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker located in New York, NY, and I specialize in working with individual adults facing major life transitions in their lives due to serious and chronic illness, grief, relationship ruptures, and other abrupt and sudden change. I am also passionate about working with women facing modern stressors of dating, career transitions, imposter syndrome, health issues, and workplace stressors.
I am a psychodynamic, relational therapist, and I strive to create a non-judgmental and genuine therapeutic environment that is relationship based, conversational, and process based. My electic and tailored approach draws from my trainings in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Ecotherapy. I utilize a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive practice lens throughout my practice.
I earned my Master’s degree from New York University, where I was a Zelda Foster Palliative and End of Life Care fellow. I previously worked at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as an inpatient oncology social worker, where I helped patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff navigate the complexities of serious illness and cancer treatment from diagnosis to advanced stages. I also provided emotional support and helped patients and families navigate end-of-life transitions on the inpatient palliative care team at NYP-Weill Cornell as a graduate student. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Journalism from Miami University.
