Nicole Benedicto Elden (she, her), Psy.D. is a NY state licensed clinical psychologist, dissertation, career and life coach, supervisor, public speaker and author. She is a 1.5 generation Filipinx-American who immigrated to the US as a teenager and is the first in her family to obtain a doctoral degree. For the past 20 years, Dr. Benedicto Elden has worked in various settings including college counseling centers, city, state and research hospitals, government agencies and community centers and nursing homes. She is also co-editor and author of the book Thriving In Graduate School: The Expert's Guide to Success and Wellness (www.thrivingingradschool.com) and she has spoken and presented on various topics throughout the years in many different settings. 

Dr. Benedicto Elden's therapeutic approach is integrative with a heavy focus on client-centered responsiveness and multicultural humility. She has been trained in dynamic, interpersonal, supportive, multicultural, cognitive behavioral, couples and family systems. She has been involved in research in psychotherapy techniques, identity and academic development and supervision. Her interests include anxiety, depression, interpersonal and relationship issues, intergenerational trauma, cross-cultural and minority identity formation, the immigration experience, multiracial couples and parenting, graduate student mental health and adjustment to life transitions.
