Psychologist, Ph.D.
Dr. Gordon has specialized training in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) women's mental health, trauma treatment, and working with expats around relocating and immigration. In her clinical work, she integrates relationship-focused, trauma-informed treatment with evidence-based techniques. Dr. Gordon has trained in multiple settings both in Israel and in New York City treating adults and adolescents, including City College Counseling Center, Mt. Sinai St. Luke’s Trauma-Focused Program, Women’s Health Project and The National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP). Dr. Gordon is an adjunct professor at New York University and at Ben Gurion University in Israel.
Dr. Gordon completed her B.A. in social work with a specialization in the treatment of trauma and post-trauma. She received her M.A. from the Transdisciplinary Violence and Trauma Studies Program at New York University and completed her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at New York University’s Department of Applied Psychology.
