Hi, I’m Nora, a New York-based therapist. I believe all humans are capable of creating meaningful change in their lives. I consider it a privilege to be a part of that journey with my clients.

Therapeutic Approach:

I specialize in working with people dealing with major life transitions, as well as relationship issues, grief and anxiety. My approach focuses on creating space for your healing process, and helping you find clarity, strength, and renewed well-being. I also have a specialized niche in working with people experiencing divorce, separation and co-parenting dynamics.

I bring a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to my practice. I tailor my therapeutic relationship to meet each person’s individual needs through active listening, mindfulness and a relational approach. By creating a space where the client is seen and heard, I aim to build a therapeutic relationship built on trust, understanding and empathy.

I believe that the therapeutic process can bring a sense of hope, agency and healing during our difficult passages of our life.

Education & Experience:

I am a licensed New York State Social Worker (LMSW) and received my master’s degree from the Columbia University School of Social Work. In addition, I have training as a co-parenting specialist, NYS-certified mediator, Collaborative Divorce Family Specialist, and certified divorce coach. I specialize in divorce/separation, co-parenting, life transitions, grief, and anxiety.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to elevating underrepresented communities. For seven years, at Autism Speaks, I developed programming that empowered families for long-term success following an autism diagnosis. Before that, I created initiatives for the Jewish National Fund to engage young adults and worked in a community-based mental health clinic.
