I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience helping adults and adolescents navigate depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and the challenges associated with parenting and caregiving, chronic medical problems, identity questions, and issues related to ADHD including procrastination and self-criticism. I have trained therapists and developed specialized treatment programs at New York University and at Teachers College, Columbia University.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based and informed by current psychotherapy and neuropsychology research. In our work together I will tailor my approach to your individual needs by drawing on evidence-based therapies including mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and ACT, informed by relational and attachment-based principles. Importantly, we will integrate your existing wellness practices such as mental health apps, physical exercise/sports, spirituality/religious, and psychedelic experiences into the therapeutic process.
I believe that therapy offers a non-judgmental and safe place to identify, celebrate, and build on your strengths while learning new skills, insights, and awareness to help you reach your goals. Contact me for a complimentary 15-minute consultation to see if we are a good fit.
