I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice in Park Slope, Brooklyn. I bring compassion, a strong skill set, and warmth to every person I treat. I strive to create an environment of comfort and safety as these are crucial for psychological growth and healing. One of the most important predictors of successful therapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. My style is interactive and, perhaps most importantly, it is collaborative. Above all else, I work flexibly to meet each individual's needs.
I have over twelve years of clinical training and experience treating adolescents and adults in individual, family and couples' therapy. I am experienced treating people with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, LGBTQIA and gender identity issues, grief and loss, and coping with life transitions.
My work integrates both insight-oriented approaches and cognitive-behavioral techniques such as coping strategies, skills building and goal-setting.
