I am a licensed clinical psychologist providing individual and couples therapy to adults in New York and New Jersey via telehealth.
I have expertise in the following areas: working with survivors of trauma; navigating pregnancy and the postpartum period, including postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, birthing trauma, infant/pregnancy loss, etc; reshaping body image and eating challenges; supporting couples to repair conflict, improve communication, and enhance emotional connection.
My approach is trauma-informed and strengths-based. I am an integrative therapist, incorporating evidence-based treatment models including psychodynamic therapy, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, and emotion-focused therapy for couples (EFT).
I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. My training has included working with veterans at the Manhattan VA as a doctoral intern and working with pregnant and postpartum individuals/families at The Motherhood Center of NY as a postdoctoral fellow. My doctoral research focused on the impact of weight bias on mental health, disordered eating, body image, and the efficacy of body acceptance and intuitive eating approaches.
I currently work as a clinical psychologist at Columbia University Irving Medical Center - New York Presbyterian Hospital providing care to a diverse population of adults in Washington Heights. In addition, I have a part-time private practice. I am accepting clients currently and have evening and early morning availability. I am an out of network provider, though I offer sliding scale rates.
