I am a psychotherapist with particular expertise in intuitive eating and nutrition. I also specialize working with individuals struggling with disordered eating and negative body image. I believe that our relationship to our bodies is reflective of how we feel about ourselves. I strongly believe that when our eating habits, sleep patterns and activities of daily living are not well regulated we may feel more anxious, more stressed and have difficulty navigating experiences in our relationships and day to day interactions with others.I integrate mindfulness as well as other scientifically backed psychotherapy approaches into my clinical work to help my clients feel calmer and more satisfied and more centered in their lives. I can help you to feel more comfortable and at ease in your body and mind and find new and healthier ways to deal with stress and difficult feelings.My approach is active, collaborative, and results driven. I provide my clients with the skills to overcome their anxiety, depression, and fears in order to help them live more satisfying, and enjoyable lives. I recognize that there is not a one size fits all treatment method and I customize my approach to fit each client's needs.
