I am a psychotherapist (LCSW) seeing clients virtually in NY, NJ and CT for weekly individual therapy. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, life transitions, relationship dynamics, chronic illness, and maternal mental health. My diverse perspective includes using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, AEDP, and relational approaches.

I work with a lot of people who are high achieving, self critical, and tend to take on a caretaker role in their relationships. My clients are often tired of worrying all the time, feeling preoccupied with thinking and planning ahead, or are stuck in cycles of thinking about the same things. I aim to help clients to tolerate uncertainty, pay attention to their internal dialogue, better understand underlying fears, examine the roles they tend to fill in relationships, learn to set healthy boundaries, navigate more effective communucation, and process how past experiences impact them in the present.

I also have extensive experience working with inviduals adjusting to a new diagnosis or living with a chronic condition after working at Mount Sinai Hospital for seven years before shifting into private practice. Coping with chronic illness can feel isolating, anxiety-provoking, and debilitating. In my work with clients, I help them to process the traumas endured in the medical system, unpack what it has been like to live with chronic illness, and develop coping strategies and communucation skills to help them feel more of a sense of agency and control where possible, and seek what they need from the people in their life.

I specialize in working with women, and their partners, dealing with all stages of maternal mental health. I work with individuals who are navigating ambivalence and inner conflict about deciding to have children, dealing with fertility issues, coping with pregnancy, and managing general maternal mental health as they adjust to and manage issues arising during parenthood.
