Ramona Clifton, LCSW is a psychotherapist with a 15+ year private practice based in Brooklyn, NY. Work experience includes providing care, supervision and consultation in a range of settings, including Inpatient Psych, Outpatient community MH, and NYC public schools.. She sees clients both virtually and in person in downtown Brooklyn.

Ramona's practice serves adults in creative fields, such as music/art/dance/journalism/publishing/education/performance/production etc. who are coping with major life changes, trauma history, substance issues, relationship and family concerns. Issues may include depression, anxiety, disordered eating, self esteem and motivation. Clients are encouraged to co-create their therapy sessions using goal setting, accountability, mood tracking, skill building and other supportive techniques. EFT tapping can be used to help process traumatic events, or to learn applied coping skills for anxiety, public speaking/performance and other circumstances.

Ramona is pleased to serve on the advisory board for a mental health/suicide prevention/artist advocacy organization, Sounds of Saving. She is a member of ACEP (Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology), serving on the communication committee and writing blogs to communicate about ACEP research and progress. She is an advocate for education, equality and human rights, and a supporter of organizations such as NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) and Fountain House.
