Russell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive training and experience in treating individuals with substance use disorders (SUD) and a variety of co-occurring mental health conditions. He facilitated group and individual therapy for the treatment of SUD as a counselor in Hazelden Betty Ford’s evening intensive outpatient program. He has completed training in a wide range of clinical modalities, including Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
