I support individuals, families, and groups navigating a wide range of human experiences, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, parenting challenges, relationship concerns, work-related stress, trauma, chronic illness, and cancer diagnoses. I also offer compassionate care around survivorship, loss, and grief.

In addition, I have a deep understanding of cultural and racial identity, immigration experiences, and the ongoing process of acculturation and integration honoring one’s own roots and values. As a bicultural and multilingual therapist, I offer services in both English and Spanish, and welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life.

I work with people across the lifespan — adults, young adults, adolescents, and children — always with a warm, honest, and collaborative approach. I believe that therapy is a shared space where we commit to showing up as our authentic selves to accomplish progress. Together, we create a foundation of safety and trust, allowing for meaningful growth in the areas you choose to explore. At the heart of successful therapy is a genuine connection and a strong therapeutic alliance — one built on mutual respect, openness, and care.

About:

Education, training and credentials

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State, with a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Fordham University, Lincoln Center. As a mental health professional, I provide therapy and counseling to individuals, families, and groups, and am qualified to diagnose and treat mental health conditions. My license reflects twenty years of clinical training, ten years of supervisory experience, and a deep commitment to supporting clients through emotional challenges and everyday life stressors.

In addition to my clinical licensure, I hold an Oncology Social Work Certification (OSW-C), which recognizes advanced training and dedication to the care of individuals and families facing cancer diagnoses and survivorship. I bring particular sensitivity to the medical and emotional complexities that accompany these experiences.

Experience

My background includes extensive work history in healthcare settings — both inpatient and outpatient at Mount Sinai Hospital— as well as in non-profit organizations at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and in private practice at The Resilience Lab. These diverse environments have deepened my understanding of the systems that shape people’s lives and the importance of integrating compassion to care.

Practice Style

My therapeutic approach is mindful, holistic, and strength-based. While grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic perspectives, I draw from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, solution-focused, meaning-making, trauma-informed, and person-centered. I adapt treatment to meet your specific needs. I believe in tailoring care that is effective and aligned with who you are.

As a bicultural and multilingual therapist, fluent in English and Spanish, I offer a culturally attuned space for clients navigating racial and cultural identity, migration, or transitions between cultures. With a background in business and a global outlook that is shaped by my own immigrant experience, I bring curiosity, empathy, and practical insight to therapy.

Whether you're navigating a personal challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, I look forward to supporting you on your path toward growth and wellbeing.
