I am a child, adolescent, and adult psychologist in private practice in the midtown east neighborhood of  Manhattan. I have a special interest in working with pre-adolescents, adolescents, and young adults. I obtained my Ph.D in combined Clinical and School Psychology from Hofstra University. I also completed the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program and the Intensive Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at the William Alanson White Institute.   I  am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy and psychodynamic and relational psychotherapy. My treatment approach is integrative, combining these approaches depending on the age and individual goals of each patient.

My work with children and teenagers is informed by my experience working as a school psychologist in independent schools. I am familiar with the challenges kids and teenagers face during the different stages of their development. I work with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, learning disabilities and ADHD, issues around adoption, relationship problems with family members and peers, and divorce.
