Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
My focus lies in helping individuals and couples work through anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, major life transitions, trauma, chronic illness, grief and loss. I received my Masters of Social Work from New York University and completed a certificate in Contemplative Psychotherapy through the Nalanda Institute and am certified in IFS Level 1 Training.
Prior to my career as a therapist, I worked as a marketing and partnerships consultant for Fortune 500 companies. This has allowed me to specialize in working with high-performing New Yorkers struggling with the pressures of corporate environments trying to find more balance in their daily lives.
Through a warm and integrative approach, I use the mind-body connection as a focal point of much of my work with clients. I draw upon a variety of modalities including CBT, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy all within a goal-oriented framework. I aim to create an empathetic, comfortable environment for my clients to explore their challenges and experiences, increase their awareness and insight, all in an effort to promote positive and lasting change.
