Sarah received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Syracuse University and New York University, respectively. She has trained in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospitals, schools, community mental health clinics, and private group practice across the New York City area. Specifically, Sarah’s experience includes working as a psychiatric social worker at Lenox Hill and Bellevue as well as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and associate program director for mental health at The Institute for Family Health. Most recently, Sarah was a senior clinician at Flatiron CBT.

Sarah completed Psychodynamic training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies. She has worked with individuals, groups and families presenting with mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders and trauma and stressor-related disorders.

With extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and Habit Reversal Training (HRT), Sarah uses an integrative and collaborative approach by incorporating a variety of techniques into her work.
