I’m a social worker and therapist who approaches clinical work through a holistic framework, grounded in the belief that everyone, at any age, deserves to feel heard and may need additional support along the way. I work with individuals and families across the lifespan, including child engagement, adolescent development, college and career transitions, parenting, and relationships. Common reasons clients come to me include school challenges (in person and virtual), family changes, trauma, dating and relationship concerns, co-parenting and solo parenting, and feeling stuck in a career or life path. I also have been working specifically with clients diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder for the last 5 years and understand the unique experiences that come along with managing manic and hypomanic episodes and bipolar depression, as well as family members and those dealing with a loved one living with the illness.

My practice is rooted in social justice and anti-oppression frameworks. I identify as a feminist, womxnist, anti-racist, and solutions-focused therapist, and I hold myself accountable to my clients and the communities I serve through open feedback, a strong therapeutic alliance, and ongoing reflection. I make sure each client is seen as an individual and remains the expert on their own experience.

Clinically, I integrate mindfulness-based practices with skills from Attachment Focused EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and draw on Motivational Interviewing, Family Systems Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy, along with other strengths-based, person-centered interventions. I also build on each client’s interests and style, using movement and play therapy, art, music, and other creative techniques tailored to their age and goals.

Outside of work, I’m a beach lover, travel enthusiast, and biker. I’m a yoga teacher and practitioner, I play soccer and squash, and I’m a devoted basketball watcher. Most importantly, I’m a dog mom to Ollie, my very large pit bull.
