Clinical Social Work/Therapist
All human beings have the need to connect with others, whether it's a healthy connection or not, and those connections are intermixed with our emotions. I help people create more meaningful connections, help address how the past has effected their current perception of themselves and the world, and re-create their narratives so they can construct more powerful connections. I work with clients to identify what their cycle of behaviors are, how it affect them, to gain clarity on their thoughts, feelings and behavioral patterns related to their interpersonal connections and themselves.
I specialized in working with adults of all ages, individually and with couples, who wants to improve and process the stories they tell about themselves. I strive to be culturally-sensitive, nonjudgmental, and take an empathic approach to make you feel that you are genuinely heard and understood.
I am a first generation Indian American who offers an integrative approach to explore different attachment and interpersonal patterns, along with identity, acceptance and trust. I modify different techniques to meet your needs, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamics techniques, Mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and EMDR.
