I am a compassionate, warm, and nonjudgmental therapist skilled at creating a nurturing environment to help people identify and meet their goals for well-being, healing, and positive change. I view therapy as a partnership and believe that building a collaborative, compassionate safe space for an individual to express their thoughts and feelings is essential in supporting them to become their best self.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience providing therapeutic services for people of all ages, identities, and backgrounds. I provide individual therapy for adults for a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions. I have an integrative approach to providing therapy, using techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and client-centered therapy, according to the needs of each individual.
I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University. I have worked in a variety of settings, including in outpatient mental health, in an agency supporting survivors of intimate partner violence, and in independent practice.
