I am a licensed clinical psychologist working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I particularly enjoy working with new moms, parents and families. I have expertise in the vast range of issues unique to adolescents and college students. I treat a wide variety of problems and difficulties including anxiety, mood issues including depression, life stressors, relationship difficulties, adjustment to new life phases, self-destructive behaviors, and eating/body image issues.

My therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each indivdual's unique needs. I have expertise in evidenced-based therapies including Cognitive-Bheavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness based approaches. I also have specialized training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) which is a type of therapy specifically geared towards parents of anxious children or young adults.

I earned my B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and my PhD from Stony Brook University. I completed a predoctoral psychology internship at Long Island Jewish/Hillside Hospital in Queens, N.Y. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Cognitive and Behavioral Consultants, LLP. In addition to my private practice, I serve as a voluntary faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Weil Cornell Medical College- New York Presbyterian Hospital where I mentor and supervise trainees. I have also led workshops and tranings on a variety of topics including CBT for school anxiety, adolescent depression, parenting, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I also conduct school trainings and consult with school counseling staff on CBT and DBT.
