Therapy creates room to explore what may have long gone unspoken or unnoticed. I approach this work with curiosity, warmth, and deep respect for the complexity of your inner world. My perspective is grounded in psychoanalytic thinking, which means I’m especially attentive to the ways our past relationships and emotional histories continue to live in the present.
I see therapy as a collaborative and relational process. This approach tends to resonate with people who are curious about themselves and who want to invest in understanding their experiences on a deeper level. This kind of self-understanding ultimately gives people a greater sense of ease and therefore, more freedom in how they move through the world.
I offer a complimentary 15-minute phone call so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. In our initial sessions, we’ll approach the work as a consultation period — a space for me to listen carefully for what it feels like to be you and how your experiences have shaped you, while we clarify what is bringing you to therapy.
