Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for change, and that thought inspires hope. I am a psychotherapist with over 10 years experience and training. My passion is to help people address and solve issues in their lives so that they can achieve greater personal fulfillment. I work in a collaborative way with clients, setting personal goals and a plan for achieving them. Each person brings his or her own history and problems to my office, and in an atmosphere of safety and empathy, we work together using inspiration and insight to help uncover each person's unique self.
I work with adolescents, adults and couples. My specialties include helping people learn new tools to manage and and heal from their anxiety, depression, OCD as well as trauma and PTSD.
I have extensive training in trauma treatment, CBT and couples therapy, as well as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a treatment that works with the body in mindfulness to help people heal from trauma and pain.
