I am a seasoned LCSW-R, obtaining my MSW from the University of California - Berkeley and undergoing years of post-graduate training and supervision.

Although I see adults with the full spectrum of issues, I have expertise in three areas:

1) Child and Adolescent therapy - I worked as a Senior Social Worker in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Service at Maimonides Department of Psychiatry, where I saw children and family members and supervised graduate social work students.

2) Acute and Chronic illness - I worked for 11 years as a transplant social worker, where I assessed potential transplant candidates as well as potential living donors. I provided support and follow up to patients and their families at all phases of the transplant process and ran a group for new transplant patients.

3) Intergenerational trauma - I have special interest, experience and expertise in this area due to my family's survival of the Holocaust and use my knowledge to help individuals and families experiencing trauma related to their own circumstances. I speak internationally on this issue, having just returned from Berlin, where I was invited to address the legacy for Second Generation survivors and beyond.
